Regional Situation Update on COVID-19 in Davao Region as of July 14, 2020 | 5:00 PM
As of 5:00pm today, DOH Davao Center for Health Development reports 45 new cases of COVID-19 in the region bringing the total number of active cases to 321.
Of these new cases, 38 are from Davao City, two from Davao de Oro, two from Davao Oriental, two from Davao del Sur, and one from Davao del Norte.
Four deaths were recorded today. Two were from Davao City, one was from Davao de Oro, and another one from Davao Oriental. One recovery from Davao del Norte was also reported. A total of 274 persons were tested today, of which 50 tested positive for COVID-19. Among the 50 persons who tested positive today, five were from other regions, thus, their cases will be added in their respective regions. There is still an ongoing verification as to how many of these new cases are Locally Stranded Individuals and Returning Overseas Filipinos. Information shall be posted after the verification.
